Smallest 1080p LCD TV
Posted: September, 16 2009World’s smallest FULL HD TV is to hit the market. The 22in 1920×1080 pixel TV from LG is set to be a real workhorse for PC/MAC/PS3/XBOX and of course TV.

Although it’s tagged as a monitor TV, which comes in screen sizes from 19in to 27in, is perhaps a HD ready television first and foremost. Indeed, the 22in, 23in and 27in sets are Full HD (1920 x 1080), which surely makes the former screen the smallest 1080p TV on the market.
In addition to their resolution, each screen features a DVB-T tuner, CI card slot, two HDMIs, DVI, Scart, component and VGA sockets. They also feature claimed contrast ratios of 50,000:1 and 5ms response times.

This is the way of the future!

Tiniest 1080i tv? Yea right. Back in 2005 I bought a Samsung that is just 20 inches and does 1080i by scaling down the image, still much prettier than 720p though. The tv also handles 1080p.

Erm, last time we checked 1080i wasn’t 1080p - this is a true 1920 x 1080 with no scaling as your set would be doing.
