Thanks! I have been hunting for this little tidbit for ages. It is so much easier to just use the Google IFrame than mess about with the API for simple web site uses. The bubble always got in the way in small windows.

Hmmm… looks like code from Google may have changed(?) or at least is different from maps.google.co.nz I can’t find iwloc=&addr& in what I had from google.

Ah… no… going to add to that! Point to note in case anyone else does what I did. DON’T go to the “customise code” option (yeah OK you did say that) - looks like it’ll give you different code for the same thing. Also note you might get different iwloc= code depending on what you have added as a location. (eg I had iwloc=A& ). Best of luck.

If you don’t have iwloc=near&addr& add this before ;output=embed and it should work even with news syntax.

thank you for the last update…I was going mad, because I could not find iwloc in my embed code anywhere……once I added it before the ‘embed’ voila…no bubble..
