Magento Thank you for registering with Default Store View

How to remove / edit / change “Thank you for registering with Default Store View in Magento”.

Nice and easy this one, and no hacking of core code, simply go into admin:

System > Manage Stores > Click Default Store View under the Store View Name column and change the name to your store name and it should update that statement.
