Joomla permissions

joomla_logo.jpg

Simple and easy way to check Joomla folder permissions from your admin account. This will usually be setup during installation, however if you are migrating your joomla to another server or rebuilding the install, it’s especially useful to check these settings.

One of the most important things to setup correctly with Joomla is permissions. There are so many problems which come about from not having the correct permission set, that we always make it our first place to check.

I’ve been using Joomla for a while now, and tbh I haven’t seen this in the admin. You are right that a lot of problems come from incorrect permissions.

Thanks for sharing, that’s gone into the long term memory bank :)
