Cloned Monkey

  Posted: November, 27 2007

All the animals miscarried but the cloned stem cells were grown into heart and neuron cells at the Oregon National Primate Research Centre.

Prof Alison Murdoch, of the North East England Stem Cell Institute, said:

This development takes us closer to producing stem cells to treat life-limiting conditions.
